General Notes
You may add an image when you first post, when you reply to a post or if you edit a post. You may only add an image to your own posts.
Prior to attaching an image, you must have some text in the post text area (where you normally place your post or reply). If you do not, you will not be allowed to browse to where your image is on your hard drive.
Due to server space limitations we do have some restrictions on the size of images. Images can be no more than 1024 pixels in height or width and no larger than 256 KB in size. Almost any image editing program can make these changes for you.
We only accept Jpg, Jpeg,Gif or PNG images. Mac user's please make sure that you have the extension on the image - example test.jpg or test.gif.
Also, do not put spaces in the names of the image, replace the space with an underscore or dash. For example do not use "test image.jpg", use test_image.jpg.
There are many programs that can resize and save images as jpg, jpeg, png or gif files. Most operating systems come with a simple graphics program
installed. Windows comes with "Paint" (under accessories) installed. Mac OS X comes with Core Image.
Other good image programs to resize and save as are:
Infranview (free)

How to attatch an image:
When in "Add Post", "Edit Post" or "Post a Replay", scroll down below the "Notify me when a reply is posted" check box and you will see
a "Add an Attachment" section:
Next to the "Filename" text box you will find a "Browse" button. Click the "Browse" button. This will allow you to browse
your hard drive to find the location where your image is stored.
Once you have found your image, highlight it as shown above, then click "Open". You will see the path to your image in the text box next
to the "Browse" button (see below).
There is a text area next to the "Add an Attachment" button (your image is the "attachment"). You do not need to put anything in this area, or you may use it to describe your image.
Click "Add Attachment" to add the image to this post.
This does not mean
that your image has been posted to the topic. That will happen when you click "Submit".
After you have uploaded your image to the post, you will see an "Attatchments" area with the name of your image,
in this case "
trunk1.jpg", and buttons to delete this image, or to update the comment in the image comment text area (see below).
Once you have added an image, you may add another to this post, or you may delete one or all of them.
Please note: Adding or deleting an image will not erase anything you have typed in the text area for your post or your reply to a post.
You may upload 3 images for any single post or reply to a post.
Once satisfied with your image(s), click "Preview". It's a good idea to always preview your post whether or not you have an image.
Your image will appear in an enclosed area within your post.
At this point you may delete or add another image (remember there is a limit of 3 images per post) or edit either your post message/reply (as you would
with any previewed psot) or your image comment. Once you are satisified click "Submit" at the bottom of the page and you will have posted your image.
